Bhagwan ne meri Soon Li

You know, sometime things are just planned. Although you don't plan but they are automatically planned for you. As usual, we had our awesome jam session between 7-9 p.m on Sunday. We worked on 3 new originals named "Slut Regime" "Psycho" & "5 More to Go" YES!! we're back with some kick ass music for you people. All these songs will be on our 2nd Studio Album by end of this year.

So, coming back on the food thingy, after we split from the Jam, we decided to eat some good food. Last time we chose Maldrins and it was a perfect after jam dinner. This time we wanted something a little more exciting than regular Chinese Food. We picked this super cool restaurant around the corner of Malad Evershine. The minute you enter Soon Li, you get a Jackie Chan movie feel. Just like in those old Chinese Days. Minimum decor, but really fancy, stylish and authentic. All the required Feng Shui stuff were wired in every corner. Not a comfortable place though but yes, if you have less crowd, you can sit, relax and eat.

On the menu we began with Chicken Manchow Soup and Chicken Lung Fung Soup. Both the soups were made outstanding. You know, whenever you take your first slurrp of the soup you should get a rich and fresh feeling like "oh, wow....this soup is freaking amazing" Exactly my point. While I was busy with my soup the surprise attack came in. I swear to god I've not eaten "Prawns Koliwada" anywhere like these. Soft, Fresh, Crisp, Hot, Sour and Spicy. Do I need to say more? Boss, the Schuan Sauce is like the blessing. It's bread and wine. For me, these guys have invented the word Schuan. Nothing can beat this sauce. After a while we called for a Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken American Chopsuey and Shaggy's recommendation Chicken Hot Garlic Schuan. Yes, we were on a Schuan Spree that day. We loved the sauce & the gravy. Every spoonful of the rice was very tasty. A very good quality Chinese Eating Joint this is and it's Shaggy's favorite too :-)

The confused part about Soon Li is the Proprietors are Chinese and the staff working inside the kitchen is Indian. This is very weird. Generally in my city we often see Indian staff owning the Joint and Chinese type looking people work there. Just to give a shitty feel of the "so called China Town"

I recommend this place to every Chinese Food Lover. Go there and eat some real fresh Chinese. Do try the Apple Chicken gravy there....

After the dinner, these guys dropped me home - Yes, the Chinese Food Fest was over for us :*(

This jam was like a very perfect jam. It was early, it was clean and we were blessed by some new gear. Our band Santa got surprises for me and Shaggy. I was blessed with something so important that as I hit the 1st shot on my new Mapex Black Panther Blade Snare, I was like "holly molly" what the F*** is this? What a kick ass sounding percussion. Wow!! I was drooling on my new snare, Amey was tuning his guitar and what do we hear?? Yes, Dr. Dre playing some crazy solos on his new Fender Jazz Bass which looks like a summer May Calender Chick....that baby is like one sleek woman and it sounds perfect-o-licious!!

We sounded tight as ever with our new gear. We split in a while leaving Tripwire together after a long long time. Just solo/chorus. :D We decided to eat something nice and filling. We picked Maldrin's a superb chinese food restaurant In Malad West somewhere near Orlem -

As soon as you enter Maldrin's you get this so called Chinese Mafia Joint feeling like the one in RUSH HOUR. There was a Tibetan waiter who was serving us. Amey asked for a Chicken Royal Soup while Me and Shaggy we shared a Chicken Manchow Soup. The Royal Soup was nice. It comes with noodles, chicken, veggies with a nice spicy taste. Their Manchow Soup is outstanding, when they serve you the Soup, it looks fresh and smells good.

Our main course choice was a Chicken Singapore Fried Rice with Chicken Hot Garlic Schuan. One portion is filling for 3 people like TRIPWIRE :~P The Singapore Fried Rice is like a blessing there. Perfect yellow with cashews, seasoning, veggies, dice chicken and lots of Singapore Love <3 Chicken Hot Garlic Schuan was freaking amazing. Nice red semi thick gravy with the perfect schuan taste. Try the Chicken Shawarma, oh my god it's like a sweet Death Trip!! Beautiful Roast Chicken with pickles and french fries served with a nice thick veg mayo sauce. Yes, this is the food for people who believe in Inner Peace.

Go to Maldrin's and have a good time -
